Refund & Return Policy

Last updated: October 26, 2026

OROS, Inc. supplies materials exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. Please review your order carefully before completing payment.

1. All Sales Final

Except as required by applicable law or expressly provided below, all sales are final once payment has been successfully processed and any required authorization is complete.

We do not accept discretionary cancellations, returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect product selection, ordering errors made by the customer, or materials no longer needed.

This policy applies whether payment is completed directly at checkout or through a separate payment authorization form.

2. Research-Use Materials and Returns

All products are sold strictly for research use only and are not intended for human or animal consumption or administration.

Because research materials may be affected by handling, storage, contamination, and chain-of-custody concerns, we do not accept returns.

Do not return any product without prior written authorization and handling instructions from OROS. An authorized return does not automatically establish eligibility for a refund or exchange. Nothing in this section limits remedies required by applicable law.

3. Incorrect, Damaged, Missing, or Nonconforming Products

Our final-sale policy does not eliminate applicable remedies for products that arrive damaged, are incorrect or missing, or materially fail to match the description or specifications applicable to your order.

Please inspect your shipment promptly and report concerns to support@orosresearch.com as soon as reasonably possible. Include:

  • Your order number;
  • The affected product and lot number, if available;
  • A description of the issue; and
  • Relevant photographs of the product, packaging, and shipping label.

Retain the affected materials and packaging while we review the issue. Set aside any apparently damaged or compromised product and do not use it while the concern is being investigated.

We may request reasonable supporting information. Depending on the findings and applicable law, we may arrange a replacement, refund, or another appropriate remedy.

A product’s failure to produce an anticipated research result does not, by itself, establish that the product is defective or nonconforming.

4. Shipping Delays and Delivery Issues

If we cannot ship within the applicable promised timeframe, we will provide any required delay notice, opportunity to consent to a revised shipment date, cancellation option, and refund required by law.

If we cancel an order because we cannot fulfill it, we will refund the amount collected for the unfulfilled portion, including associated charges where required.

For missing deliveries, contact us promptly so we can review carrier records and other relevant information. Tracking information will be considered as part of the investigation; it does not automatically eliminate applicable rights or remedies.

5. Duplicate Charges and Payment Errors

Please notify support@orosresearch.com promptly if you believe you were charged twice, charged an incorrect amount, or experienced another payment-processing error.

We will investigate and correct verified errors. If you have already paid for an order, contact us before submitting another payment or authorization form for that same order.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will ordinarily be issued to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed with you.

We will notify you when a refund has been issued. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and financial institution.

We will not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund when a monetary refund is required by law. Shipping charges will be refunded where required by law or included in the approved resolution.

7. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

If you have a billing or fulfillment concern, we encourage you to contact support@orosresearch.com so we can investigate and attempt to resolve it.

Contacting us is not a prerequisite to exercising rights through your card issuer, payment provider, or applicable law.

OROS may respond to disputes with relevant documentation, including order records, checkout authorizations, separate payment authorization forms where applicable, customer communications, and shipping or delivery records.

We reserve the right to contest inaccurate or unsupported disputes and pursue lawful remedies for substantiated fraud. A good-faith dispute is not, by itself, fraudulent or a breach of our policies.

Nothing in this policy waives lawful rights concerning unauthorized transactions, billing errors, non-delivery, or other legally recognized disputes.

8. Customer Responsibility and Applicable Rights

Before submitting an order, please review the product information, quantities, shipping address, and payment details.

Purchases are also subject to our Terms & Conditions and Legal Disclaimer.

This policy does not exclude, restrict, or replace rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. If this policy conflicts with applicable law, applicable law controls.
