Compliance & Certification
OROS, Inc. complies with all applicable U.S. regulations governing the sale and distribution of Research-Use-Only (RUO) products. All materials offered through this website are sold exclusively for laboratory research purposes and are not intended for human or animal use of any kind.
To clarify, OROS Research supplies compounds strictly intended for laboratory research use only. Our products are not manufactured, labeled, or marketed for human or veterinary administration, and therefore are not subject to the labeling or serialization requirements established under FDA current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations or those applicable to active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) or finished dosage forms.
Because of this regulatory distinction, research-use-only (RUO) materials are not required to bear lot numbers, manufacturing dates, expiration dates, or other batch-specific information directly on the vial or primary packaging.
Instead, compliance and traceability are achieved through accompanying documentation and analytical testing data provided by OROS, Inc.
At OROS Research, we maintain quality and transparency practices that exceed typical industry standards for RUO suppliers. Each batch is independently tested by a licensed U.S. analytical laboratoroes to ensure accuracy, purity, and consistency. Every Certificate of Analysis (COA) includes:
-
A verified batch number or internal reference identifier
-
Comprehensive analytical data, including purity and assay results
-
Endotoxin testing results
-
The testing laboratory name and verification date
-
A unique identifier or code for independent COA verification via the testing providers website.
In addition, manufacturing dates, expiration estimates, and date-of-sale ranges for each batch are made available publicly on our Lab Results page. This approach provides researchers with verifiable documentation while maintaining compliance with FDA RUO labeling guidelines and ensuring transparency across all distributed materials.
Customers are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations within their jurisdiction when purchasing, possessing, or using any products supplied by OROS, Inc.
