Science Without Shortcuts™

OROS Research, headquartered in Cary, North Carolina, supports U.S. life science professionals, independent laboratories, and research institutions with high-purity, research-use-only materials. Our focus is simple: raise the standard for quality, transparency, and consistency in the research supply chain while maintaining accessible pricing for serious researchers.

Every product we offer is intended strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only. Our materials are not drugs, medicines, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or food products, and they are not intended for human or animal use.

What OROS Means

“OROS” is derived from the Greek word for “mountain” or “peak” — a symbol of ascension, clarity, discipline, and mastery. For us, it represents a commitment to operating at a higher standard in a category where quality claims are often difficult to verify.

Not All Research Materials Are Created Equal

The research peptide market is filled with inconsistent quality standards, vague sourcing claims, limited testing documentation, and vendors who ask researchers to take their claims at face value. OROS Research was created to offer a more transparent alternative.

Our products are supported by batch-specific Certificates of Analysis, U.S.-based third-party testing, controlled production processes, and clear research-use-only compliance standards. We believe researchers should have access to the documentation needed to evaluate product quality before placing an order — not only after requesting it.

Why Researchers Trust OROS

U.S.-Based Production & Fulfillment

OROS Research works with a California-based partner facility for key domestic production steps including purification, formulation, sterile filling, lyophilization, vialing, and sealing.

This allows us to maintain tighter oversight, stronger batch consistency, and a more controlled supply chain than vendors who simply import finished vials and relabel them.

cGMP-Aligned & ISO-Based Quality Systems

Our California-based partner facility operates using cGMP-aligned processes and ISO-based quality systems. Manufacturing activities take place in controlled cleanroom environments designed to support contamination control, precise handling, and consistent production standards.

From raw material review through formulation, lyophilization, vialing, labeling, and final release, our process is designed to support quality, traceability, and reliability for research-use-only materials.

Independent Third-Party Testing

As of April 2026, all newly released OROS Research batches are tested through independent ISO-accredited laboratories as part of our commitment to transparency, consistency, and scientific integrity.

Every batch undergoes a comprehensive quality review designed to verify critical product attributes before release. Depending on product type, this testing may include compound identity, purity analysis, net content verification, multi-vial conformity testing, endotoxin screening, heavy metal analysis, microbial testing, residual solvent analysis, and other applicable quality assessments.

Batch-specific Certificates of Analysis are made publicly available through our product pages and COA Library, allowing researchers to review testing documentation prior to purchase.

Comprehensive Mulit-Point Batch Testing

OROS Research has built one of the most comprehensive testing programs currently offered within the research-use-only market. While many suppliers rely on basic purity-only testing, our program is designed to evaluate multiple quality markers that matter for serious laboratory research.

  • Identity Testing – Confirms the material matches the intended compound.
  • Purity Analysis – Verifies purity levels and helps identify potential impurities.
  • Net Content Verification – Confirms vial contents align with labeled specifications.
  • Multi-Vial Conformity Testing – Evaluates consistency across multiple vials within a batch.
  • Endotoxin Testing – Screens for bacterial endotoxin contamination.
  • Heavy Metal Analysis – Evaluates for the presence of regulated heavy metal contaminants.
  • Microbial Testing – Screens for microbial contamination and supports overall batch quality review.
  • Residual Solvent Analysis* – Evaluates for residual solvents that may remain from manufacturing or processing. *Currently capsules only. Expanding to all new batches starting June 2026.

The specific testing performed for each batch is documented on the corresponding Certificate of Analysis.

Transparency Before Purchase

We believe quality claims should be supported by documentation. That is why our COAs are publicly accessible and tied to specific lots whenever available.

Researchers should not have to rely on vague statements, screenshots, or unverifiable testing claims when evaluating research materials.

Trusted by Research Clients Nationwide

OROS Research has earned a 4.8/5 star rating on Trustpilot from over 300 research clients. These reviews reflect real customer experiences with our ordering process, fulfillment speed, product presentation, documentation, and customer support.

For researchers comparing suppliers, third-party reviews provide another layer of confidence beyond marketing claims alone. You can read our verified customer feedback on our Trustpilot page.

Reliable Research Supply

As demand for high-quality research materials continues to grow, OROS Research is committed to building dependable infrastructure around inventory planning, secure fulfillment, testing, documentation, and customer support. Our goal is to provide researchers with consistent access to materials they can evaluate with confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do the products arrive?

Lyophilized research peptides are supplied in sterilized, sealed vials and shipped in secure protective packaging. Lyophilized materials are generally stable during normal transit conditions and do not require cold packs for shipment.

OROS Research does not ship lyophilized research peptides with cold packs because cold packs can introduce unnecessary condensation, moisture exposure, and temperature cycling inside the package during transit. Since lyophilized materials are designed for stability in a dry, sealed state, protective packaging and prompt carrier delivery are typically preferred over unnecessary cold packing.

Our packaging is designed to help protect products from impact, direct light exposure, and ordinary environmental conditions encountered during carrier transit.

Where can I find COAs?

Certificates of Analysis are available on individual product pages and through our COA Library. When available, COAs include batch-specific details such as lot number, identity, purity, net content, conformity results, endotoxin status, and other applicable testing data.

What testing does OROS Research perform?

As of April 2026, all newly released OROS Research batches are tested through independent ISO-accredited laboratories using one of the most comprehensive testing programs currently available in the research-use-only space.

Depending on the product type and applicable testing requirements, this program may include:

  • Identity Testing – Confirms the material matches the intended compound.
  • Purity Analysis – Verifies purity levels and helps identify potential impurities.
  • Net Content Verification – Confirms vial contents align with labeled specifications.
  • Multi-Vial Conformity Testing – Evaluates consistency across multiple vials within a batch.
  • Endotoxin Testing – Screens for bacterial endotoxin contamination.
  • Heavy Metal Analysis – Evaluates for the presence of regulated heavy metal contaminants.
  • Microbial Testing – Screens for microbial contamination and supports overall batch quality review.
  • Residual Solvent Analysis – Evaluates for residual solvents that may remain from manufacturing or processing.

Certain product categories may also undergo additional testing protocols when appropriate. The exact testing performed for a given batch is documented on the corresponding Certificate of Analysis.

We believe this level of testing, combined with publicly accessible COAs, represents a stronger transparency standard for researchers evaluating RUO suppliers.

Are OROS products intended for human use?

No. OROS Research products are sold strictly for in-vitro laboratory research use only. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, clinical use, diagnostic use, therapeutic use, compounding, or resale as finished drug products.

How should products be stored?

We recommend storing lyophilized research materials in a cool, dry environment away from direct light and humidity. For long-term preservation, freezer storage is ideal.

Once reconstituted, materials should be handled according to your laboratory’s internal research protocols and storage standards.
